Woven Word Retreat Waiver + Terms & Conditions

Please read the following carefully. By checking the box below, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined.
1. Personal Responsibility & Assumption of Risk
I acknowledge that I am voluntarily choosing to participate in the Woven Word Retreat and that I am responsible for my own well-being before, during, and after the retreat. I understand that the retreat may include physical activities (such as yoga, hiking, or movement), emotional and spiritual practices (such as meditation, Reiki, journaling, or group sharing), and community-based experiences. I accept full responsibility for any physical, emotional, or psychological experiences that may arise during or after the retreat.
2. Medical Disclosure & Emergency Care
I confirm that I have disclosed any relevant physical, mental, or emotional conditions that may impact my participation. I understand that this retreat is not a substitute for medical, therapeutic, or psychological treatment. In case of emergency, I consent to receive medical attention and understand that I am responsible for any costs incurred.
3. Cancellations & Refund Policy
I understand that deposits are non-refundable. Cancellations made more than 30 days before the retreat will receive a refund of any amount paid beyond the deposit, minus a small processing fee. Cancellations 21-29 days before the retreat will receive a 50% refund of any amount paid beyond the deposit or can apply the full amount (minus the deposit) toward a future retreat. Cancellations 20 days or less before the retreat – No refunds, but you’re welcome to transfer your spot to someone else with prior written approval from the retreat host, Kate Wargo.
4. Consent to Photography
I understand that photos or video may be taken during the retreat and may be used for future storytelling, marketing, or promotional purposes. If I do not wish to be photographed, I will clearly communicate this to the retreat host, Kate Wargo, before the retreat begins.
5. Respect for Community & Boundaries
I agree to show up with kindness, integrity, and respect for all participants, facilitators, and the land we gather on. I will honor group agreements and confidentiality within the retreat container. I understand that any behavior deemed harmful or disruptive may result in being asked to leave, without refund.
6. Liability Release
By signing below, I release and hold harmless the retreat host, Kate Wargo, facilitators, Rebecca (Tara) Eschenroeder, Morgan Woelflein, and Tiffany Narron, the venue, House Boheme, and all other partners or collaborators from any liability or claims arising from my participation in the retreat. I understand that I am fully responsible for my own choices and actions.
